This time it’s the turn of “Meena Kumari” classic “Sahib Biwi aur Ghulam”. The actress who’s been approached to play the modern tragedy queen is none other than seductive and sexy “Priyanka Chopra” and the actor who is being approached to fit in the sensitive “Guru Dutt’s” character is macho man and Mr. Dude “Salman Khan”. The pair was last seen in the remake of Hollywood’s flick “Bruce Almighty” called “God Tussi Great Ho”. Hope so after this movie thay can really thank God for his greatness!!!!

His nomination was made by “Routes to roots”, an N.G.O that works across the Saarc region to unite South Asian people. He is indeed the “Baadshah” of each and every field.

Shruti's tribute to King Of Pop!!!

The whole Bollywood is mourning to the death of “King of Pop-Michael Jacksonand each and everybody paid their special tribute to MJ in their own style. Shruti Hassan, actor and musician who is yet to make her appearance in Bollywood movie, has also decided to pay tribute to MJ with something which is related to both Shruti and MJ i.e. “Music”. Shruti along with few other singers and musicians from India will pay tribute to MJ by singing his songs in a concert to be held in “Chennai” on August 29. In her recent flick “Short Kut”, Amrita Rao took a new responsibility to her shoulders besides acting in the movie. Amrita who will be seen in an ultra-glamorous role for the first time in her movie career took the responsibility to be the dress in charge of her own costumes. She even got involved with the costume designing along with her fashion designer. Anil's con is on!!!!!

Though Anil Kapoor is riding high globally especially in U.S.A. with his “Slumdog Millionaire” success and being a part of hit U.S telly series ‘24’ but back in home the things are not as smooth. Anil Kapoor, who produced the movie “Short Kut” starring “Ahshaye Khanna”, “Arshad warsi” and “Amrita Rao” has just managed to escape the delay in the release of his movie but this escape cost Anil a whopping Rs. 35 lakhs. The whole story is that “Anil Kapoor” has been accused of stealing the title and storyline of the movie “Short Kut” which was being offered to him by a guy called BS Bhullar who narrated the story to Anil and even offered him to play the lead. But Anil turned down his offer then. Recently just before a day to release he filed the case in “Delhi High Court” which further ordered to stop the release of the movie. But later Anil compromised with Bhullar in order to escape the delay by paying him Rs.35,00,000. This is not for the first time anything of this sort has happened in Bollywood. Recently “Rakesh Roshan” also passed through the similar situation when his brother “Rajesh Roshan” was been accused of stealing a tune from the mobile advertisemesnt and using it in his movie “Krrazy 4”, Bach then the things compromised on whopping 4 crore Rupees. These things are certainly spreading like a fire in Bollywood.

So finally, Indian hearthrob Sania Mirza is ready to try her luck in mixed doubles format!!! Not literally but I'm talking about her marital status. Sania Mirza, a tennis player from India has finally decided to tie the knot as soon as possible and she has finally made a step forward by getting engaged to a Hyderabad based Industrialist "Sohrab Mirza". The whole event will be a private affair that will be held on 11th July'09. Just hope that she wins all sets of her life with aces.

Kareena's loss Katrina's gain !!!

The verdict is out and Kareena Kapoor, once again fails to deliver a powerpack perfomance in her recent released movie "Kambakht Ishq" to maintain her top spot. So her failure will definitely releive "Katrina Kaif" who is also eyeing on the tag of "Queen of Bollywood" which was till now crowned to "kareena Kapoor". Katrina's whose recent movie "New York" get applauded by critics as well as audience gave the new picture of this talented actress. Her good looks which always acted as barrier for her in experimenting with roles and made her stick to happy-go-lucky kinda role but New York has definitely given us the more matured side of Katrina with better acting and better hindi accent. Katrina is also ready with two of her ambitious projects which include "Ajab Prem ki gazab kahani" opposite "Ranbir Kapoor" and Prakash Jha's "Rajneeti" which is loosely based on the lifesketch of "Sonia Gandhi". So let's give Katrina best of luck and as for Kareena, better luck next time !!!!
