Anusha Dandekar in Delhi Belly's item number

Well no need to say that how much hype is being created by the "item number" by none other Mr Perfectionist of  bollywood "Amir Khan", but I guess only few would have noticed that the female lead who is shaking her biscuit alongside retro Aamir is also a well known name. She is "Anusha Dandekar" the famous vj from "MTV". Anusha who appears in shows like "House of style" and "MTV grind" is quite popular among youth. Anusha had a cameo in the movie. Earlier the names of Katrina Kaif, Mallika Sherawat and Mallika Arora were considered to do the item with Aamir. Infact rumours were also that Katrina has declined to do an item. Whatever be the reason someone's loss is Anusha's gain and she thoroughly enjoyed the dance sequence.

Aamir on the other hand completely revolutionized the retro theme. His chest hair is tribute to hairy chest of "Anil Kapoor", his dancing style is similar to that of disco dancer "Mithun Chakraborty" and the music is inspired from Bappi da's style. Not only desi but Aamir impersonates Elvis Presley's hairstyle too.

Farah khan, the sister-in-law of superstar "Hrithik Roshan" is a well renowned jewellery designer not only in India but she has gathered some fans among the international celebrities too. Farah, whose jewellery was spotted in the fashion wardrobe of "Serena Williams" earlier has gained some more popularity. Her latest client is none other than international R&B diva "Beyoncé Knowles".


Beyonce wears a 'Goddess' crown designed by Farah - a Swarovski crystal-studded heads piece - for the artwork of her new album 4.

This piece was made to celebrate feminity; and to represent the goddess in all women. The crown has crystals in shades of gold and orange. Talking about the Swarovski crystal crown, Farah says her inspiration is the 'Goddess', who is the source of life, adored for her beauty and grace. "Beyonce is such a style icon and idealized all over the world; she is a Goddess in the true sense of the word," says Farah.

Shahid kapoor : sexiest Asian vegetarian

Bollywood chocolate boy actor Shahid Kapoor has been adjudged as Asia’s Sexiest Vegetarian Man for 2011.

Apart from Shahid, other popular names include B-Town hottie Kareena Kapoor, Mongolian singer Nominjin, model-turned Hollywood siren Maggie Q, Super Girl Jane Zhang, Taiwanese actor Blue Lan, actors Barbie Hsu, Gao Yuanyuan and songwriter Louis Cheung. Other favourite celebrities include Natalie Portman, Milo Ventimiglia, Hayden Panettiere, Jake Shields, Leona Lewis and Anthony Kiedis.

Apparently, Shahid won PETA’s India’s Sexiest Vegetarian contest in year 2009 and received the Filmfare Award for a Debut Film in 2003 for ‘Ishq Vishk.’

Talking to a daily, Shahid said, “I have always supported the cause of being a vegetarian, and it`s nice to be felicitated for something so close to my heart. Being voted as sexy is a matter of perception, but being vegetarian is a lifestyle change and something that comes from a sense of responsibility. I want to thank my fans for their vote and I am enjoying the sexy tag.”

Not a love story (exclusive trailer)

Ram Gopal Verma is finally back. This time with a story loosely or rather completely based on infamous "Neeraj Grover" murder case titled "Not a love story". According to Ramu, this is not the biopic on Neeraj grover case but it is his own view point on the incident and he added that it is the perfect time to release the movie as the case is again in the limelight. According to Ramu, he shot the movie in the same appartment in which this brutal incident took place, in spite of refusal from the neighbours. The central character is portrayed by "Mahie Gill" of Dev.D fame. The film contains alot of explicit scenes showcasing the brutality of the event . As the tagline of the movie goes "its not for the fainthearted". Lets hope atleast brave hearted persons can make this movie successful.

Mission impossible 4 first look : Anil absent

This is not the first time when a  bollywood star, who in spite of being associated with the hollywood blockbuster franchisee, is absent in the movie's first look. This time it's the turn of "Mr India" of bollywood "Anil Kapoor". Anil who himself publicized  his presence in the Tom cruise starrer Mission Impossible's fourth installment was not given a single footage in the first look of the movie which is out now.

Earlier the same incident happened to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Mallika sherawat. His fans are still optimistic and hoping that the producer might have intentionally hidden him so as to present Anil as a surprise package. Well whatever be the reason it's definitely not happening for a bollywood fan.

Prince Harry's new girlfriend got bollywood connection

Yeah you've got it right. Florence Brudenell-Bruce, a lingerie model who has been romantically linked to the 26-year-old Prince, has been a part of bollywood blockbuster named "love aaj kal" paired opposite nawab of bollywood "Saif ali khan" and portrayed the role of his european girlfriend(which Saif is used to in real life too).

The pair reportedly began dating recently after the Prince’s relationship with Zimbabwean-born Chelsy Davy finally came to an end.
Miss Brudenell-Bruce is a descendant of the seventh Earl of Cardigan, Lieutenant General James Thomas Brudenell, who famously led the Charge of the Light Brigade against the Russians during the Crimean War.
Her connection to the Royal family comes through Sir Edward Walpole, the son of Britain's first prime minister Sir Robert Walpole. Sir Edward, who died in 1784, had a daugher, Maria, who married into the Royal family.
The 25-year-old is the daughter wine merchant Andrew Brudenell-Bruce, an Old Etonian, and his wife Sophie, a painter, and grew up in Fulham, west London.

Uday who made debut of his "not so acheiving" career debut with "over acheiving" movie Mohabbatein, declared this mourful news( joyous for the audience....for sure) on twitter. Few would have guessed that this star son of yash chopra would have such a small journey in Bollywood, where his daddy chopra is still going strong. Uday, who experienced last failure with "pyaar impossible" starring opposite priyanka chopra, might have forced him to quit this job.

Katrina declined bikini offer

If reports are to be beleived then the latest buzz in the B-town is that bollywood diva "Katrina Kaif" has declined the offer from the Yash raj productions to be a part of their next promising venture Dhoom-3. According to the insiders the script demanded two bikini scenes which according to the production house is quite pivotal part of the movie hence it could not be changed or removed. But kat politely refused the offer. The ironical part is that Katrina made the debut in bollywood with a bikini scene only in the previous decade movie named "Boom". The production house also tried to convince her by citing the examples of her counter part "Kareena" and "Priyanka chopra", who spotted this look in the movies like "tashan" and "Dostana" respectively but this attempt also failed. Let's see whether her "no-bikini" decision might not cost her much.

Ameesha and Bipisha- something similar ???

Well you must be wondering after having the glimpse at the pic that something or rather everything is looking similar. Actually the incident took place at the Green carpet entrance at the IIFA awards ceremony held at Toronto, when both actresses wearing the dress by the same designer and of similar color too.

ANUSHKA SHARMA detained at airport

First Minisha, then Bipasha and now Anushka,  it seems like the detention at airport is quite catching up with the Bollywood actresses. The latest news coming is that "Anushka Sharma" who won the best actress award at the recently held IIFA awards at Toronto had been detained at Mumbai airport while returning from the same by the custom officers for not paying the custom excise duty. Anushka reportedly was carrying jewellery, luxury watches and some ornaments worth 35 lakh rupees. Poor Anushka, must be going through extreme high and lows within a span of 24 hours. Anyways we hope she prefers India as her shopping destination from the next time onwards.

IIFA RESULTS 2011

The much talked about 12th Indian International Film Academy awards finally ended on a high note with "My name is Khan" and "Dabangg" bagginbg the most awards of the night. Anushka Sharma was the biggest surprise of the evening.Anushka Sharma was also a popular choice. No surprise. She had already been voted one half of the Hottest Couple by the Indian diaspora, sharing the award with her Band Baaja Baaraat co-star Ranveer Singh. He also did double duty, winning the award for best debut male. “Ladies and gentlemen, I promise you, this is just the beginning,” the brash and obviously charming told his adoring crowd as young ladies threw him verbal love bouquets from the seats behind home plate at the Rogers Centre. Singh is a break-out star with his second film, Ladies vs Ricky Bah, set for release in December.

My Name is Khan — the story of a Muslim Indian family which faces racial profiling and prejudice in the U.S. after 9/11 — also earned Karan Johan (another co-host) the award as best director. His emotional acceptance speech underscored the theme of the IIFA awards night: “One night .. one world ... one mega celebration.” My Name is Khan is a film about healing and overcoming racial and religious prejudices and differences.
